Parts
Replacement parts that were not made by the original manufacturer.
Car Cover
Plastic sheeting that is placed over parts of the vehicle
that will not be painted to protect your vehicle from overspray.
DRP
(Direct Repair Program)
Programs in which agreements are made between the
insurance company and an auto body repair shop. These programs allow
insurance companies to set rules that the auto body repair shop
must follow.
Hazardous
Waste
Materials used in the repair and/or painting process that cannot
be disposed of through normal waste disposal. These products require
special handling and disposal set forth by federal and local laws.
R&I
(Remove and Install)
The process of removing undamaged
parts from the vehicle to gain access to the damaged parts. Once
the damaged parts are replaced, the undamaged are re-installed.
R&R
(Remove and Replace)
The process of removing damaged parts and replacing
them with new parts.

Additional
repairs that were not identified on the original estimate.
Unibody
Structural support found in most late model vehicles.
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
The unique id number that identifies your vehicle. It also has important
information concerning the equipment and options which were installed
on your vehicle at the factory.
